When most people realized the Florida vs Kentucky game was at 7pm they were a little shocked. Most people didn’t know that Urban Myer was going for his 100th career win. Others didn’t know that Florida was looking to extend their 23 game win streak over Kentucky or that both teams were 3-0 going into the game. There were a lot of reasons to make this a night game, but little did we know that Florida and SEC history would be made on national tv.

Trey Burton a true freshman out of Venice, Florida would have a game to remember. He accounted for 6 touchdowns in a single game. This is a feat that the great Tim Tebow wasn’t even able to do. He had a few 5 touchdown games but never 6. Trey Burton is the only Freshman in Florida’s history to account for 6 touchdowns in a single game (5 rushing and 1 receiving). He also tied the record for the whole SEC conference as a freshman. “they (his teammates) said they’re 10 other guys on the field” Burton said joking with the reporters in an after game interview.

Trey Burton accounted for every single offensive touchdown in the game in Florida’s 48-14 win over Kentucky. Florida’s defense accounted for 7 points off of a pick 6 interception.
